NEWBURG — The next-seeded Newburg High School Graduation softball team saw its season end on Friday, because host Lady Wolves fell to top-seeded St. Elizabeth 3-one in the championship game of the category 1 District 6 Tournament at Newburg High Field.
The second-seeded Newburg High School softball team saying its season come up to to an finish off on Friday, as the host Lady Wolves fell to top-seeded St. Elizabeth 3-1 in the championship game of the Class 1 District 6 Tournament by the side of Newburg High Field.
On Thursday Newburg defeated Crocker 11-1 while St. Elizabeth shut out Stoutland 10- in semifinal action.
Newburg ends the summer season which has a 17-3 mark.
St. Elizabeth (16-8) will meet District 5 champion Montrose with Appleton City (16-6) at 4 p.m. Wednesday in school 1 Sectional playoff action.
